Richmond Dental and Medical Visits Anaheim for CDA Presents 2019
A few weeks ago, Richmond Dental was once again proud to exhibit at one of the largest West Coast dental industry gatherings, CDA Anaheim.
CDA Anaheim is an annual meeting of the California Dental Association, a 26,000-strong community of dentists who enhance their professional lives through education and networking, in addition to championing better oral health care for all Californians. CDA supports dentists in all stages of their careers with a unique set of resources, including education, practice support, advocacy and protection. Over 150 years old, the organization represents the largest statewide contingent of the American Dental Association.
This year’s edition of CDA Anaheim took place May 16-18 at the Anaheim Convention Center CDA Anaheim featured 550 exhibitors from the world of dental devices and supplies. In addition, the convention provided 200 courses and workshops, including a wide variety of opportunities for dental professionals to earn continuing education credits and hear world-renowned speakers talk about innovations and technology driving the profession in the years to come.
This year’s theme, the “Art and Science of Dentistry,” saw CDA Anaheim deliver yet another groundbreaking schedule of industry thought leaders speaking on clinical and research innovations in dentistry, as well as practice management and regulatory compliance. Topics of discussion included oral surgery and aesthetic issues with anterior implants, as well as presentations on tips for a thriving practice and the California Dental Act.
CDA Anaheim also featured a unique fundraising event, Sips for Smiles. The wine tasting event featured wines from six California regions, with ticket proceeds benefiting the CDA Foundation’s CDA Cares program. CDA Cares is a volunteer initiative of the association, where dentists and dental professionals administer care to nearly 2,000 attendees at multiple events throughout the year, free of charge to patients.
